Two-piece Danish band Sparkling combine elements of electronic music, with pop and new wave, to create a mesmerising yet catchy tune. In part, they can thank fantastically clean production, but the bouncy bass hooks and a chorus made up of stunning held notes are equally as responsible. ‘Say Goodbye To The Ragged Tiger’ is an early glimpse at their upcoming album Felonious (2019), revealing what to expect through a tale of "letting go of old demons… and the knots and beauty of life". The album will be an exciting exploration of the Copenhagen music scene, with jazz saxophonist Jesper Løvdal and sought after bass player Peter Buch appearing throughout. -Dan Peeke
